Day 2 - ThinQuest2006 Continues

I am keeping with the theme of posting Hawaii pictures for inspiration. This one is a personal favorite, as Mike and I had it blown up, printed, and framed for our hallway.

Day 2 has started strong for me. Another yogurt and water. I can see that I am going to need some more breakfast options. I'm enjoying the key lime yogurt, but I don't want to overdo it.

Hope to hear from you all soon,
Jen

OK...day two. I loved the Hawaii pics. Another trip over there is a big reason to stick to it. I love the beach and the water. Unfortunatly, the athorities would think that some kind of marine life had beached itself. Baluga maybe. We wouldn't want that. So, for breakfast.... The individual packets of oatmeal are a good idea because it's measured. I've found if I serve myself a portion it's always much more then a true serving. It also comes in a huge box like 48 packages in 8 flavors at Sam's Club. Same as the bars. We got those Nuti-grain breakfast bars there too, like 50 in the box. They are OK for snack too. That's a good grab and run. Today I had Progresso Chicken Noodle soup. The whole can, 220 calories and I was plenty full. It tastes good too. I got bonefess, skinless chicken breasts out to thaw this morning, put some italian seasoning on them, and they are going on the grill for dinner. We can slice up leftovers to go on salads or whatever. I need to get more veggies. I think I'll miss bread the most. I'm looking forward to the Success begins today tips.

By the way, I'm doing ok. The spinache smoothie is actually working well for me! Not so much food but rather something that makes me not hungry anymore...

I did well today - yogurt, lunch was a lean meal, then another for dinner. I need a snack, though.

We're off to Sams, NOW - this sec - before it closes.
Good job, peeps - keep it up.
